Trip to the Zoo

Today we took Ryan to the zoo to celebrate his birthday. It was a little chilly but we had a great time!

One year ago today.... Today...

A lot has changed in a year!! Thanks to everyone for the birthday cards and wishes for Ryan. This morning we woke Ryan up with a special birthday song , the same one my parents played for me each year on my birthday when I was growing up. Ryan is doing great - running around everywhere and getting into EVERYTHING! He now weighs 22 lbs 14 ounces and is in the 50th percentile for weight, it seems moving around has caused him to trim up a bit! We can't explain the joy that this past year has brought us, each day he gives us a new reason to smile. Thanks to everyone for their support, we are very lucky to have amazing friends and family who have helped a lot, both near and far. We couldn't have made it without all of you, and of course without each other. One year down, 17 more to go...:)

Even though the Sox lost, we still had a good time at Game 7 of the ALCS - Sox vs Rays in Tampa Bay...

Katie and Sergio's Wedding Weekend!

This weekend we had a fabulous time in Orlando celebrating Katie and Sergio. The entire weekend was a blast and we are still recovering...What a gorgeous wedding!! We wish Katie and Sergio the best for many years to come!

Tonight we went to DC to help Diana celebrate her 30th. Happy early Birthday Diana!!!! And thanks to Scott and Annette for babystting Ryan :)

Farm Fun

Today we enjoyed the beautiful weather by going to a local farm. There was plenty for Ryan to do and see there, and we ended the day picking out pumpkins. We were only 20 minutes outside the city but felt like we were way out in the country. It was a great afternoon!
