At the beginning of the summer, Ryan was wearing a life vest and only went in the pool when held by an adult. I never could have imagined that in just 6 short weeks, he would be wearing swimmies, floating around the pool by himself, and jumping in with no one catching him! his swimming skills only continue to improve, and he gets braver and braver as the summer goes on. Of course, watching his older cousins splash around doesn't hurt! Having the pool at the vacation house was a saving grace this week - on hot mornings and afternoons when we just didn't feel like walking down to the beach, we happily gathered around the pool to cool off. And Ryan loved every minute of it!
